"New Export Market Opportunities for Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs" The National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA) has organized a workshop to introduce new export market opportunities for small and medium scale entrepreneurs. At this event, entrepreneurs were educated on the products and services that are expected of the international market and the standards.

They were also briefed on the services available to entrepreneurs through government institutions. Government agencies such as Sri Lanka Customs, Export Development Board and the Department of Railways were involved. Lulu on the invitation of the Hon. Minister Wimal Weerawansa, The International Trading Company was also present. They agreed to buy more goods and services than they currently buy. And LULU for buying new entrepreneurs' products the Company agreed and Maersk Line agreed to provide solutions to the problems of exporting to the entrepreneurs. Hon. Minister Wimal Weerawansa agreed to provide all necessary facilities for the entrepreneurs to win the export market.
